Some Words from our Supporters

22nd December 2025

Dear friend,

Drumroll:

The decline into frailty, disease and declining independence due to aging is the cause of the greatest amount of human suffering in the world today. Literally, billions of people are experiencing these ill effects now, and in the future.

No single treatment will solve all the issues with aging decline. They must be combined in a divide and conquer strategy. This is why the Robust Mouse Rejuvenation (RMR) experiment, done by the Longevity Escape Velocity Foundation (LEVF) is so crucial to relieving this suffering in the shortest possible time.

These are not my words. I found them in a comment provided by Neil Christensen, who is a very generous recurring donor to LEVF. Everyone who donates via the page levf.org/donate has the opportunity to submit both a public testimony and a private note, describing their hopes and intentions.

I’ve been reviewing these comments, and the powerful wave of positive sentiment toward my work is deeply inspiring.

Here are a few other excerpts from public comments:

Aubrey and his teams have a history of making biorejuvenation breakthroughs that lay the groundwork for future anti-aging therapies that will someday save billions of lives. They tackle the intractable bits of aging, bits that are too speculative or longterm or unprofitable for venture capital. I’m proud to support LEVF and Aubrey and their work to defeat aging.

Fighting diseases of old age is one of the most important things there is.

I choose to donate because I feel life and health is important. I truly trust and believe this foundation with Aubrey. I’ve never donated a single time in my life until now (age 39), but now I sign up for monthly donations. I hope other people who are curious about donating and contributing will ‘just do it’. Every dollar counts and if we all contribute even a small amount it will matter.

I know enough about biology and genetics to be sure that Aubrey de Grey's approaches have huge merit, and potential of becoming a reality. I also believe in what LEVF is doing, by doing and funding the research required that may not be otherwise easy to get investments or grants for. But it's needed to further the reversing aging approach. Kudos!

I want to help my parents live longer!

I'm donating $100/mo

I believe this research is promising and it's been terribly underfunded for psychological reasons, I suppose, by philanthropists and the general public who either don't see the value or don't believe extreme life extension through better science is feasible.

Loren Woirhaye

Aging is the biggest common enemy of all of us.

I particularly like this one, with its straightforward appeal:

Let’s make this happen!
